Hornick is a city in Woodbury County, Iowa, United States. It is part of the Sioux City, IA–NE–SD Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 225 at the 2010 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.26 square miles (0.67 km2), of which, 0.25 square miles (0.65 km2) is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 km2) is water. The town is located on the floodplain of the Missouri River, near the edge of the Loess Hills, adjacent to the old (meandered) channel of the West Fork Little Sioux River.
As of the census of 2010, there were 225 people, 102 households, and 65 families residing in the city. The population density was 900.0 inhabitants per square mile (347.5/km2).
