Honor is a village in Benzie County of the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 328 at the 2010 census. The village is located within Homestead Township on U.S. Highway 31 along the Platte River.
The community has the name of Honor Griffin, the daughter of a first settler.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.56 square miles (1.45 km2), of which 0.54 square miles (1.40 km2) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 km2) is water.
As of the census of 2010, there were 328 people, 135 households, and 87 families residing in the village. The population density was 607.4 inhabitants per square mile (234.5/km2). There were 186 housing units at an average density of 344.4 per square mile (133.0/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 93.0% White, 0.3% African American, 2.4% Native American, 0.3% Asian, and 4.0% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.4% of the population.
There were 135 households of which 30.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.0% were married couples living together, 13.3% had a female householder with no husband present, 8.1% had a male householder with no wife present, and 35.6% were non-families. 30.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 18.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.43 and the average family size was 2.99.
