Hong Wei Jian (Chinese: 洪伟健; pinyin: Hóng Wěijiàn; born August 20, 1985) is a Singapore basketball player who plays for the Singapore Slingers. Known for his 39-inch (99 cm) vertical jump, he goes by the nickname of "Flyboy" on the court. He is arguably the best player amongst the locals.
In 2008, Wei Jian played a few games with the Singapore Slingers while the team was competing in the 2008/09 Singapore Challenge Series.
On August 2009, Wei Jian signed a one-year contract to play for the Singapore Slingers, along with Pathman Matialakan. He scored a career high of 18 points against the Kuala Lumpur Dragons on Nov 22, 2009
Wei Jian was named the Slingers' Most Improved Player for the 2009-2010 ABL season on the Slingers Awards Night on 17 February 2010.
Due to a knee injury, Wei Jian is out for the 2010/11 ABL Season.
Wei Jian is also a member of the Singapore national basketball team for men.
