Hendijan (Persian: هنديجان; also Romanized as Hendījān; also known as Hendeyān, Hendīān, Hindīān, and Hindijan) is a city in and the capital of Hendijan County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 25,100, in 5,054 families.
Hendijan is an historical city of Iran over 3000 years old, in the south-eastern Khuzestan province and 75 kilometers southeast of Mahshahr city. The Hendijan (Zohre) river is divided Hendijan city two halves into North and South. For mor information in Persian: هندیجان
