Hightower is a French punk rock band from Paris founded in 2013 by two cousins, Romain Mariani and Jeremie Lombard who grew up listening to punk rock music from the 90s. The band gets noticed thanks to the sweet combination of heavy vocals and intense melodies which create an original mix of energy and thrill.
Hightower is founded in 2013 by Romain Mariani, the drummer, and Jeremie Lombard, the guitarist. They meet Alexis Calvi and Benjamin Dubois who play the bass and the guitar. Vincent Crespel, who used to play the guitar, decides to take the lead on vocals.
In 2014, they record their debut album Sure. Fine. Whatever. at the Omen Room Studios in Los Angeles, California. The album is produced by Steve Evetts.
On the same year, they're touring Finland and France with the band One Hidden Frame.
In 2015, their debut album Sure. Fine. Whatever. is released on vinyl and CD by Knives Out Records. They start a European tour with the band Fake Shakes (France, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Switzerland, Belguium, Austria, Slovaquia). In April, they tour Great Britain with the band Fairview.
In 2016, they play a few festivals as the Rhinos Feroces and play both in France and Germany.
Late 2016, they decide to fly to Los Angeles to record their second album with Steve Evetts at the Omen Room Studios.
May 9, 2017, they sign on Krod Records for European release.
A first single entitled The Party is released on May 22 and the release of the album Club Dragon is planned in September 2017.
