Gerald "Gerry" Joseph Peyton (born 20 May 1956 in Birmingham, England) is a former Irish footballer, who featured as a goalkeeper for clubs such as Burnley, Fulham, Bournemouth, Everton, Bolton Wanderers, Norwich City, Chelsea & West Ham United. Peyton since 2003, has been the goalkeeping coach of English club Arsenal.

Born in Birmingham, Peyton' footballing debut came with him featuring for Burnley in July 1976. He thereafter left Turf Moor in October of that year to link up with Fulham where he stayed until February 1984. Peyton headed out on loan to Southend United in March, staying there for another three months. He returned to Craven Cottage in July, ultimately leaving Fulham in the summer of 1986.

Peyton made the move to Bournemouth soon afterwards where he stayed for the next five seasons. He eventually moved on towards Everton in 1991, where he was continually loaned in particular to Bolton Wanderers, Norwich City, Brentford and Chelsea. Peyton returned to Goodison Park in March 1993, eventually being sold to West Ham United in the summer of 1993, where he stayed for a solitary season. He thereafter brought an end to playing days soon afterward. In all, Peyton notched up over six hundred league appearances, while also winning 33 international caps for the Republic of Ireland. Peyton, after his player career came to an end, took up the role of a goalkeeping coach with Japanese teams Vissel Kobe and Jubilo Iwata. He also worked in an identical role with club AIK Solna of Sweden. Peyton thereafter linked up from July 2003 to present with English club Arsenal
