The participation of Georgia in the Bala Turkvision Song Contest first began in Istanbul, Turkey, at the inaugural Bala Turkvision Song Contest in 2015. Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) have been responsible for the selection process of their participants, since their debut in 2015. Şaban Memmedov was the first representative for Kosovo at the Bala Turkvision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Seninle Bagli Arzular", which finished in third place out of thirteen participating entries, achieving a score of one-hundred and twelve points. As of Bala Turkvision 2015, Georgia have awarded the most points to Azerbaijan, Belarus, Găgăuzia, Iran, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine. They have received the most points from Albania, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Găgăuzia, Iran, Kosovo, and Macedonia.
