Forum for the Future is a British registered charity and non-profit organisation with a mission to promote sustainable development. It has an annual turnover of around £4.5 million and employs 66 staff. The current CEO is Sally Uren. They work in the United Kingdom, United States, India and Singapore.

Its vision is of "businesses and communities thriving in a future that’s environmentally sustainable and socially just". It runs partnerships with more than 100 organisations across business and the public sector to incorporate the principles of sustainable development. Forum specialises in futures work, innovation and capacity building.

From 1996-2916 the organisation ran a Masters course, 'Masters in Leadership for Sustainable Development'. This was run in partnership with the University of Middlesex and the Leadership Trust.

Forum for the Future was founded in 1996, by Paul Ekins, Sara Parkin and Jonathon Porritt.

The organisation focuses their work with companies and government on attempting to "transform the systems they operate in", which they call the "big shift". Their work concentrates on the food, energy, telecommunications and retail sectors.

The Forum publishes a magazine called Green Futures which highlights news stories on the environment, sustainable development and green innovation.
