Fantasea Cruising is an Australian marine tourism and transport operator.
Fantasea Cruising was founded in 1982 by David Hutchen. Initially operating in the Whitsunday Islands, it later commenced operations on Magnetic Island, Pittwater and Sydney Harbour. In March 2006 the business was sold to Riverside Marine.
Fantasea Cruising Sydney is a tour and transport operation based on Sydney Harbour. It operates tourist services both on Sydney Harbour and beyond Sydney Heads to Bondi Beach. Until 2014, Fantasea operated Fantasea Crystal and Fantasea Spirit under contract on Sydney Ferries Parramatta River services.
It operates seven vessels:
Fantasea Yellow Water Taxis is a water taxis operation based on Sydney Harbour. It operates water taxis services tourist services from hubs at Circular Quay & Darling Harbour. Fantasea purchased both Yellow Water Taxis and Aussie Water Taxis in 2013 then merging both companies to form the largest water taxi service in Australia with a fleet of 12 vessels.
Fantasea Cruising Palm Beach operates ferry services from Palm Beach to Wagstaff, Ettalong, Coasters Retreat, The Basin, Currawong and Mackerel Beach.
Fantasea Palm Beach also operates seasonal whale watching during two windows in the Humpback Whale's migration along the eastern coast of Australia. These are mid-June to mid-July and October to early November. Services run from Palm Beach and Ettalong.
