Emmanuel Roman (also known as "Manny") (born August 1963) is a French businessman. In 2016, he was named the incoming CEO of PIMCO, a global investment management firm based in the U.S., effective November 1. Previously he served as the CEO of the Man Group, the world's largest listed hedge fund firm.

He was born in France in August 1963. He gained a bachelor's degree from Paris Dauphine University in 1985, and an MBA from the University of Chicago in 1987.

In 1987 he started his career at Goldman Sachs International Limited, where he worked in the areas of Fixed Income, Investment Banking and Capital Markets. From 1996 to 2000 he served as a co-head of Worldwide Equity Derivatives at Goldman Sachs, and from 2000 to April 2005 as co-head of Worldwide Global Securities Services. In 2003 he became a co-head of the European Equities Division.

In 2005 he joined GLG Partners and was co-Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. In 2010 GLG was acquired by Man Group. and Emmanuel Roman was named chief operating officer of Man Group. In May 2011 he was named to the company's executive board and in December 2012 was named as successor to CEO Peter Clark, starting in February 2013.

In 2016, he was named the incoming CEO of PIMCO, a global investment management firm based in the U.S., effective November 1.

He is not married, has two daughters and collects wine.
