Elvis Duran's Artist of the Month


Elvis Duran's Artist of the Month is a regular feature since 2003 by American radio broadcaster Elvis Duran in which he chooses an upcoming sole singers, and at times duos and group to spotlight them each month as "Artist(s) of the Month". In certain months, more than one artist was featured during the month.

Since 2013, Duran has his own segment on NBC's Today show with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb where Duran presents his selected artists, and after a brief interview with show's hosts Kathie Lee and Kotb, the selected artists sing a recent song of their own for national public audience in the States. Past artists who have appeared on the segment include American bands like A Great Big World, American Authors, Los 5, Midnight Red, Ocean Park Standoff, The Revivalists, Secret Weapons, the duos Lion Babe and Lipstick Gypsy, independent and emerging American artists like Jon Bellion, Cris Cab, Sabrina Carpenter, Greyson Chance, Rozzi Crane, Daya, Mikky Ekko, Emily Estefan, Ferras, Jordan Fisher, Adam Freedman, Gallant, Todrick Hall, Parson James, Tori Kelly, Austin Mahone, Laura Marano, MAX, Bea Miller, Jake Miller, Marina Morgan, Ben Rector, Bebe Rexha, Skylar Stecker, VÉRITÉ, Tyler Ward, Whitney Woerz, Zendaya and more. Although a big majority of the featured artists are American, Duran makes a point of introducing some non-Americans acts as well giving them huge exposure in the American markets. Such international artists include Grace, Vance Joy, Conrad Sewell and The Griswolds (Australia), Alessia Cara and Shawn Hook (Canada), Isac Elliot (Finland), AudioDamn! (Germany), Nikki Williams (South Africa), Låpsley, Katy Tiz, Labrinth, Tom Walker, the band MiC LOWRY (UK) and others.
