Todrick Hall (born April 4, 1985 in Arlington, Texas) is an American singer, actor, dancer, director, choreographer, and YouTuber. He rose to prominence when he auditioned for the ninth season of American Idol, where he made it to the semi-finals. Since then, Hall has been performing on Broadway and YouTube. In 2016, Hall joined as a judge on the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars and assumed the lead role of Lola in the hit Broadway musical Kinky Boots.

On August 24, 2009, he auditioned to the ninth season of American Idol in Dallas, Texas where he was mentioned as working with Fantasia in The Color Purple. He sang a self-composition mentioning the judges, Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi and guest judge Joe Jonas, to plead his case for inclusion in the program. Getting yesses from all four, he went into Hollywood week and eventually the semi-finals.

In Top 24, he sang "Since U Been Gone" from Kelly Clarkson and in Top 20 "What's Love Got to Do with It" from Tina Turner and was safe for both rounds. After his rendition of "Somebody to Love" from Queen in Top 16 round broadcast on March 11, 2010, he was one of four contestants to be eliminated in that round, ranking joint 13th to 16th overall.
