Macalister is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Queensland. It was created in the 2017 redistribution, and will be contested at the next Queensland state election. It is named after former Queenland Premier Arthur Macalister.Located in Logan, Macalister consists of the suburbs of Beenleigh, Cornubia, Carbrook, Eagleby, Holmview, Mount Warren Park, Bahrs Scrub, Windaroo, and parts of Waterford, Edens Landing and Bannockburn. It takes in areas from the previous districts of Albert, Coomera, Redlands, Springwood and Waterford
From results of the last election, Macalister is estimated to be a fairly safe seat for the Labor Party with a margin of 6.2%.
