Dukhovshchinsky District (Russian: Духовщи́нский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-five in Smolensk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,610.78 square kilometers (1,008.03 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Dukhovshchina. Population: 16,658 (2010 Census);19,182 (2002 Census);23,720 (1989 Census). The population of Dukhovshchina accounts for 42.4% of the district's total population.
