Donnycarney or Donnycarny (Irish: Domhnach Cearna) is a Northside suburb in the city of Dublin, Ireland. It is mostly residential, around 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from the centre of Dublin. It is the home of GAA stadium, Parnell Park. Donnycarney is also a parish is in the Fingal South East deanery of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Dublin. It is served by Our Lady of Consolation Church.
Donnycarney is bordered by Beaumont, Artane, Killester and Marino, and lies in the postal districts of Dublin 9 and 5. It is mostly residential, located approximately 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from the centre of Dublin. Donnycarney is well served by Dublin Bus - 14, 15, 27, 27a, 27b, 42 and 43 which all stop at the well known Donnycarney Church bus stop. Killester and Clontarf Road Dart Stations are also nearby.
Local amenities include restaurants, the Donnycarney/Beaumont Credit Union, a church, a community youth project in the newly built large community centre (Le Chéile), a 3.25 hectares (8.0 acres) park (Maypark) that has a playground, an all-weather pitch and GAA/Soccer pitches, chip shops, Chinese takeaways, newsagents - Spar on Collins Avenue & Mace in Killester and pubs. There are small strips of shops along Collins Avenue West, Malahide Road and Killester Avenue. The nearest supermarkets to Donnycarney are SuperValu in Killester Village and Tesco in Artane Castle Shopping Centre. Donnycarney West has its own residents association "Donnycarney West Community Association" who won 'Pride of Place' 2012.
Donnycarney West (known as Old Donnycarney) street names are all named after trees Oak, Elm, Hazel, Holly with the exception of Belton Park estate while the other end of Donnycarney (Built in 1940s) locally known as North/New Donnycarney all start with 'Clan', Clancarthy, Clandonagh etc.
