Donald Francis Hanchon, (October 9, 1947) is an American bishop of the Roman Catholic Church.

Born in Jackson, Michigan, Hanchon studied at St. John’s Provincial Seminary of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit. He was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese on October 19, 1974, and began to serve in a number of its parishes.

During the 1980s, Hanchon began to study Spanish and Mexican culture, to serve better the population from that nation beginning to settle in the region in large numbers. He went to Mexico to study and as well as the Mexican American Cultural Center, now the Mexican American Catholic College, in San Antonio, Texas. He is also of Polish descent.

Hanchon was appointed the titular bishop of Horreomargum and an auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese on March 22, 2011, by Pope Benedict XVI. He was consecrated by Allen H. Vigneron, the Archbishop of Detroit, on May 5, 2011.
