Distributel is a Canadian telecommunications company. Their services include a wide range of high speed Internet products with unlimited download, including Internet services by Cable Internet, DSL, and FTTN. Distributel also offers Internet telephone lines (VoIP), the long distance packages and IPTV.

Founded in 1988 by Mel Cohen, Distributel successfully fought telecommunications giant Bell Canada for the right to offer long distance services through its distribution network. The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) will ultimately succeed Distributel in this folder, which will set a precedent by opening the way to competition in the long distance market in Canada.

The company has since adding to its portfolio of Internet services, Internet telephone (VoIP) and IPTV offered over 200,000 subscribers. In 2014, company partnership with Zazeen to sell DSL and cable Internet services.

- In 2011, Distributel acquired Acanac. Acanac currently provides High Speed Internet and Digital Home Phone (VoIP) services throughout Ontario and Quebec.

- On 31 March 2014, Matt Stein joined the team Distributel as President and CEO, while Mel Cohen maintains his role as president.

- In September 2016, Distributel acquired Yak Communications from Globalive.

- In January 2017, Distributel announced a partnership with jBilling aimed at providing more flexibility to its business systems.

Distributel offers several High Speed Internet plans, capped and unlimited, through a Cable or DSL connection. Its download speeds range from 6 Mbps to 50 Mbps under DSL, and 5 Mbps to 250 Mbps under Cable. The company has developed proprietary software which allows it to suggest the best underlying service and plan based on each customer's individual address and household needs. Distributel currently offers Internet service in Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia and Alberta.

Distributel provides Zazeen IPTV service to residents of Ontario and Quebec. The service must be paired with one of Distributel's Internet plans, ranging in speed from 15 Mbps to 60 Mbps.
