Dirba is a town and a nagar panchayat in Sangrur district in the state of Punjab, India. It is located on higher place and was also known as Thadde wala, with time, the name changed to Dirba.
Dirba is located at 30°04′N 75°59′E / 30.07°N 75.98°E. It has an average elevation of 236 metres (774 feet). .MLA of Dirba is Sr. Balbir Singh Ghunas. Most of the residents relies on Agriculture directly or indirectly. Rice and Wheat are the only two crops which is grown in most farms.
