Devoleena Bhattacharjee is an Indian actress and a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. She is notable for her role as Gopi Ahem Modi in the television program Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. She is one of the highest paid actors on Indian television.

Bhattacharjee was first noticed when she auditioned for the dance reality series Dance India Dance season two. She joined Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto with NDTV Imagine as Bani. The story is located against a Punjabi backdrop and is based on the lives of five sisters. Devoleena Bhattacharjee played the role of Baani Kaur Dhillon, younger sister of Preeto in the serial. She was cast overnight as the female lead in STAR Plus' drama Saath Nibhana Saathiya after Giaa Manek, who previously played the role, left the series.
