Dentsville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Richland County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 14,062 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Columbia, South Carolina, Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Dentsville is located at 34°4′31″N 80°57′19″W / 34.07528°N 80.95528°W / 34.07528; -80.95528 (34.075403, -80.955207).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 6.9 square miles (17.9 km2), of which 6.8 square miles (17.5 km2) is land and 0.12 square miles (0.3 km2), or 1.93%, is water.
