The Dawn of Freedom Brigades (Arabic: تجمع ألوية فجر الحرية, translit. Liwa Fajr al-Hurriya) was a Free Syrian Army-allied rebel alliance participating in the Syrian Civil War. It was part of the Army of Revolutionaries (Jaysh al-Thuwar) and coordinated with the joint operations room Euphrates Volcano.
On 18 November 2014, Nizar al-Khatib ("Abu Laith") was replaced by Abu Juma Abannawi as the leader of the coalition due to "health issues" of al-Khatib.
On 3 May 2015, the Dawn of Freedom Brigades' main component Northern Sun Battalion together with Jabhat al-Akrad, former Hazzm Movement and Syria Revolutionaries Front affiliates, and smaller FSA groups formed the Army of Revolutionaries (Jaysh al-Thuwar), which in October 2015 became part of the Syrian Democratic Forces. Subsequently, the Dawn of Freedom Brigades went defunct.
