The red-tailed bristlebill or common bristlebill (Bleda syndactylus) is a species of songbird in the family Pycnonotidae. It is found in Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. Its natural habitats are tropical moist lowland and montane forests and tropical moist shrubland.
