A woman, stabbed and discarded in a dumpster. Another middle-aged divorcee who met the wrong type of bloke at a bar? Or so it seems… until her ex-husband also turns up dead. Is this a case of kids who couldn't wait for their inheritance? Homicide investigates. Out on the case, Stanley Wolfe spots his wife out with another man. He suspects an affair, and his cop instincts say 'follow it up'. What or who has inspired Matt's new look, new attitude? His other three amigos are intrigued.

A teenage boy is found hanging in the girls' toilets at a local high school. Did bullying push him to suicide? When Homicide investigate they step into a community that is ready to explode.

The detectives are taken hostage in their own offices by a desperate father determined to re-open the investigation of a murder for which his son was convicted. Their only choice is to solve the case at gunpoint, but there's a catch... it's already been solved. Closed. Buried. Just like the victim, stuffed in a suitcase and discarded. Stanley begins the negotiation process. But when shots are fired, who is the target?

A gangster style slaying of a young mum on a crowded beach drives Homicide to work fast. Can they catch this callous killer before he hunts down the only witness to his crime?

A mother and child are slain in their own home. A loving husband and father is freed by the jury, but Jennifer knows he's the murderer. Determined to find the bodies, she goes after him. Determined to keep his secrets, the killer goes after her. Linda Wolfe comes to Homicide, determined to confront Stanley. Ugly truths are revealed, accusations fly and anger turns to anguish... There are some things that, once said, can never be taken back. Is this the end of Stanley's marriage?

The gruesome discovery of a woman's corpse leads Homicide to re-open the cold case of a bungled kidnapping. DSS Sparkes takes the lead on the case and he's doing it old school – gut instinct and no rules. Sparkes brings his old partner, now retired, in a move that will compromise the case and his career. How far will Sparkes fall for an old friend in need? And will he take Simon down with him?
