Chukhlomsky District (Russian: Чу́хломский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kostroma Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,660 square kilometers (1,410 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Chukhloma. Population: 11,346 (2010 Census); 13,574 (2002 Census);15,466 (1989 Census). The population of Chukhloma accounts for 47.7% of the district's total population.
