Chorachiwadi is a panchayat village in the state of Maharashtra, India. Administratively, Chorachiwadi is in the Shrigonda Taluka of Ahmadnagar District in Maharashtra.
The Grampanchayat Chorachiwadi is made up of Chorachiwadi Gavthan and Bhingan Dumala, two small sub-villages. Among them Chorachiwadi is a larger region in terms of area and population. Chorachiwadi is located in between the historical location 'Bahaddur gadh' (named after Chhatrapati Sambhaji) fort of Pedgaon and the taluka place Shrigonda. Bhingan Dumala is situated on the bank of a small river, Saraswati which flows a further 5 kilometers where it meets the Bhima River in Pedgaon.
Most of the villagers consist of farmers of whom harvest various main crops such as sugarcane, sorghum (Jowar), wheat, cotton, grapes, lemons, pomegranates, bananas, different nuts such as tree nuts and peanuts, onions, watermelons, and cucumbers. The younger generations are in the process of diversifying their crops by taking horticulture courses, thereby passing valuable suggestions to local farmers.
Due to lack of rain, almost all irrigation depends on water canal systems, locally named "Kukadi" and "Ghod". The Ghod water canal pass through the village even though most land is irrigated by Kukadi canal water.
In Chorachiwadi there is facility of Anganwadi's and Balwadi's (kindergartens), under the "Ekatmik Balvikas kendra" Shrigonda tehsil. Anganwadi's are at different regions of village viz. Chorachiwadi, Bhingan Dumala, Salunke Wasti, Landge Wasti etc.
