Chiu Kuo-cheng (Chinese: 邱國正; pinyin: Qiū Guózhèng) is a politician and military commander in the Republic of China (ROC). He has been Chief of the General Staff of the Republic of China Armed Forces since 1 December 2016, and is a former Deputy Minister of National Defense.
Chiu was the president of National Defense University in Taoyuan from 1 September 2012 to 31 July 2014.
Chiu was Deputy Minister of National Defense from August 2014 to January 2015.
Chiu was Commander of the ROC Army from January 2015 through November 2016. He was appointed to the position of Chief of the General Staff of the ROC Armed Forces on 24 November 2016, upon the retirement of General Yen Teh-fa, and assumed this post on 1 December of that year.
