Chekhovsky District (Russian: Че́ховский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-six in Moscow Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 865.85 square kilometers (334.31 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Chekhov. Population: 115,301 (2010 Census); 109,668 (2002 Census);39,448 (1989 Census). The population of Chekhov accounts for 52.7% of the district's total population.
