Grupo Desportivo Recreativo e Cultural Celtic da Praia, then as Celtic Futebol Clube is a football (soccer) club that plays in the Santiago Island South Zone League in Cape Verde. It is based in the neighbourhood of Achadinha de Baixo in the capital city of Praia in the island of Santiago and plays in the stadium with a capacity of 8,000 Its nickname is Celticos.
Its logo colours are green and white. Its uniform colors has a white t-shirt with green dots from green to light green and French green, white socks and green shorts for home games and everything green but the sleeves which are colored white used form away matches or as an alternative.
Celtic da Praia was founded on July 1, 1972 in the last three years of Portuguese control over the Cape Verde Islands. In 1997, Celtic Praia celebrated its 25th anniversary of its foundation.
