Castlemaine railway station is located on the Bendigo line, in Victoria, Australia. It serves the town of Castlemaine, and opened on 21 October 1862.
Rationalisation of the former yard occurred during the late 1980s.
Disused stations Elphinstone and Taradale are located between Castlemaine and Malmsbury, while disused stations Harcourt and Ravenswood are located between Castlemaine and Kangaroo Flat. Demolished station Chewton was also located between Castlemaine and Malmsbury.
Castlemaine has one island platform, with two faces and one side platform. It is serviced by V/Line Bendigo and Swan Hill line services. Platform 3 is currently used by Victorian Goldfields Railway services.
