Callaghan College Waratah Technology Campus (a campus of Callaghan College is a state-run high school, co-educational day school in Newcastle, located in the north-western residential suburb of Waratah, specialising in the use of technology; with an enrolment of approximately 556 students, as of 2016.
As a specialist middle school in New South Wales, the school teaches Year 7–10 students in accordance with the state government's education curriculum, as determined by the Board of Studies. At the end of Year 10, students proceed to Callaghan College Jesmond Senior Campus for the completion of their studies.
The school buildings were originally occupied by Newcastle Boys' High School, a selective boys' high school that operated on the site from 1934 until the end of 1976. At the beginning of 1976 the school became non-selective and co-educational for students in years 7–11 and in 1977 changed its name to Waratah High School. Later the name was changed to Waratah Technology High School, which persisted until the change to Waratah Technology Campus. Despite numerous other changes, the school retains the original Newcastle Boys' High School house names.
