Briarcliff is a village in Travis County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,438 at the 2010 census.
Briarcliff is located at 30°24′41″N 98°02′42″W / 30.411326°N 98.044899°W (30.411326, -98.044899),about 30 miles west of Austin. Briarcliff is 6.28 miles outside the western city limit of Lakeway, Texas.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.5 square miles (3.8 km2), of which, 1.4 square miles (3.6 km2) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.2 km2) of it (5.48%) is water.
Water accessibility by marina to Cat Hollow off the main basin of Lake Travis is at mile marker 26.
