Briarcliff is a village in Travis County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,438 at the 2010 census.
Briarcliff is located at 30°24′41″N 98°02′42″W / 30.411326°N 98.044899°W (30.411326, -98.044899),about 30 miles west of Austin. Briarcliff is 6.28 miles outside the western city limit of Lakeway, Texas.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.5 square miles (3.8 km2), of which, 1.4 square miles (3.6 km2) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.2 km2) of it (5.48%) is water.
Water accessibility by marina to Cat Hollow off the main basin of Lake Travis is at mile marker 26.
As of the census of 2000, there were 895 people, 369 households, and 260 families residing in the village. The population density was 647.0 people per square mile (250.4/km2). There were 455 housing units at an average density of 328.9/sq mi (127.3/km2).
