Branson West is a city in Stone County, Missouri, United States. The population was 478 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Branson, Missouri Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Branson West is located at 36°42′18″N 93°22′16″W / 36.70500°N 93.37111°W (36.704978, -93.371245).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.49 square miles (11.63 km2), all of it land. On February 25, 1992 the city of Lakeview, Missouri officially changed its name to Branson West, Missouri in an effort to capitalize on the explosive growth of neighboring Branson, Missouri.
As of the census of 2010, there were 478 people, 179 households, and 127 families residing in the city. The population density was 106.5 inhabitants per square mile (41.1/km2). There were 215 housing units at an average density of 47.9 per square mile (18.5/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 91.4% White, 0.6% African American, 0.4% Asian, 3.6% from other races, and 4.0% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 11.9% of the population.
