Braccialetti rossi (pronounced [brattʃaˈletti ˈrossi]; literally "Red bracelets") is an Italian teen medical comedy-drama television series broadcast on RAI Italian television. Based upon the Catalan drama series Polseres vermelles, the series focuses on a group of teenagers living together as patients in a hospital's pediatric ward.
The series is entirely shot in Apulia region. The set of the hospital was constructed inside the CIASU - Centro Internazionale Alti Studi Universitari, Fasano, while other sets were located in the Stadio del Nuoto, Bari, and in the city of Monopoli. During the second season, other sets were added: Fasanolandia and a school located in Via Giuseppe di Vagno 10, Bari.
Dedicated songs were created for the teen drama, including the opening themes for the first and second season: "Braccialetti rossi – Io non ho finito" and "Watanka!", respectively. The opening theme for the third one is "Simili", a 2015 single by Laura Pausini, also included in her homonymous album.
Casa Discografica Carosello produced the first album named Braccialetti rossi. The album includes:
