Belfield is a city in Stark County, North Dakota, United States. The population was 800 at the 2010 census. Belfield was founded in 1883. It is part of the Dickinson Micropolitan Statistical Area. Belfield is also a small town and another motto is "Where Friends Meet On The Custer Trail"
