Behaviour Santiago


Behaviour Santiago (formerly Wanako Studios Ltd.) is a Chilean video game developer and a wholly owned subsidiary of Behaviour Interactive. The company was founded as Wanako Studios Ltd. in 2002, by Esteban Sosnik, Tiburcio de la Carcova, Santiago Bilinkis and Wenceslao Casares. It was registered in New York City and headquartered in Santiago, Chile, until the studio was acquired by Sierra Entertainment in 2007. The company was then absorbed into Activision Blizzard and later acquired by Artificial Mind and Movement in 2008. When Artificial Mind and Movement became Behaviour Interactive in 2010, Wanako Studios was renamed Behaviour Santiago.

Wanako Games was founded in 2002 by Esteban Sosnik, Tiburcio de la Carcova, Santiago Bilinkis and Wenceslao Casares. It had headquarters in New York City with a primary site in Santiago, Chile. With a stated goal to leverage Latin American software talent, they became the largest game development studio in Latin America.

On 20 February 2007, the studio announced that it had been acquired by Sierra Online.

After the merger between Vivendi Games, Activision and Blizzard, Wanako Games was acquired by Artificial Mind and Movement, Canada's largest independent game developer, on 20 November 2008.
