Barkowo [barˈkɔvɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gołdap, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia. It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) west of Gołdap and 126 km (78 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
