Baduria is a community development block that forms an administrative division in Basirhat subdivision of North 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Baduria police station serves this block. Headquarters of this block is at Baduria. It is located 37 km from Barasat, the district headquarters.

Baduria CD Block is bounded by Swarupnagar CD Block is in the north and east. A small portion of its boundary borders Satkhira Sadar Upazila in Satkhira District of Bangladesh in the east. Basirhat I and Basirhat II CD Blocks are in the south, Deganga and Habra I CD Blocks are in west. While Gobardanga municipality is in the north, Baduria and Basirhat municipalities are in the south.
