Aswamedham (Telugu: అశ్వమేధం ) is a 1992 Telugu action film directed by K. Raghavendra Rao and produced by Aswani Dutt on Vyjayanthi Movies. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Shobhan Babu, Meena and Nagma in the lead roles and music composed by Ilayaraja.
Abhimanyu (Shobhan Babu) is an IPS officer who arrests a smuggler named Vyagra(Amrish Puri) but vyagra escapes from prison. Kiriti (Nandamuri Balakrishna ) is a pilot and brother of Abhimanyu. With te help of Kiriti Abhmanyu kills Vyagra.It is then revealed that vyagra actually is sunil vyagra has a twin brother Anil vyagra who owes to take revenge on the 2 brothers who are responsible for his brothers death. To take revenge vyagra proves that abhimanyu is a corrupt officer due to which he gets arrested and gradually due to depression commits suicide after that they inject poison in kireeti's body but above all this Kireeti kills all the villains.
