Astara County (Persian: شهرستان آستارا) is a county in Gilan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Astara. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 79,416, in 20,725 families. The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Lavandevil District. The county has two cities: Astara and Lavandevil.
