Aram Gaspar (Gasparovich) Sargsyan (Armenian: Արամ Գասպարի Սարգսյան, born August 14, 1949, Yerevan, Armenia) is an Armenian politician, a communist and social-democrat activist.
In 1967-1972 he studied at Yerevan State Linguistic University, then at Moscow higher komsomol school. Sarkisyan worked in different factories, in 1970-80's he was the correspondent of "Komsomolskaya Pravda" and "Pravda" in Armenia. In 1990 Sarkisyan was the secretary of Communist Party of Armenia Central Committee. From May 14, 1991 to September 7, 1991 he was the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Armenia.
Since 1991 he's the leader of Democratic Party of Armenia, a member of Armenian parliament in 2003-2007 and an oppositional activist.
