Arad Rural District (Persian: دهستان آرد) is a rural district (dehestan) in Arad District, Gerash County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population (including Arad, which was subsequently detached from the rural district and promoted to city status) was 6,564, in 1,446 families; excluding Arad, the population in 2006 was 1,300, in 265 families. The rural district has 20 villages.
