Anselm van der Linde O.Cist., born 24 September 1970 in Roodepoort, is a Cistercian abbot of the common observance, he is the current Abbot praeses of the Congregatio Augiensis.

Van der Linde is a former student of the University of Pretoria . After his studies in 1994 he took vows in the Territorial Abbey of Wettingen-Mehrerau. In this abbey he is a successor of Cassian Haid and the direct successor as 53rd abbot in 2009 of abbot Kassian Lauterer, and is member of the Austrian Bishops' Conference. His election was approved by Pope Benedict, the same year and sent Mgr Christoph Kühn the nuntio to represent him during the consecration. Van der Linde was ordained and consecrated by Maurus Esteva Alsina.
