Anjuman Talaba-e-Islam (Urdu: انجمن طلباء اسلام , "Islamic Organization of Male Students") is the male and non-political students organization founded on 20 January 1968 with respect to 20th Shawwal 1387 A.H at Karachi, Pakistan, after the merger of Jam'iyyat-i-Talaba-i-Ahl-i-Sunnat wa Jama'at (1966) and Anjuman-i-Muhiban-i-Islam (1962) and Anjuman Nojawanan-e-Islam to help create equality amongst Muslim students.
Union elects its president general secretary and provincial presidents and secretaries via an electoral process. Noman Jabbar, P.hd Student at GC University Lahore is leading student union as Central / Country President.
Anjuman Talaba-e-Islam, in October 2001 before impending U.S. attack on Afghanistan, had taken out a protest rally against it in Khairpur, Sindh.
At a time of human tragedy and natural disaster, most religious organisations in Pakistan and their student wings were able to temporarily forget their religious differences and do their part in providing relief to quake-affected areas. They included Anjuman Talaba-e-Islam (Noorani group), Sunni Tehreek, Jamaat-e-Islami, Jamat ud dawa, Dawat-e-Islami, Tablighi Jamaat, Muslim Hands, Islamic Relief Organisation, Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba and many others.
Student Union Anujman Talaba-e-Islam believes in Islamic democracy and equality among all Muslims. Student Union Leadership structure is based on equality and tranquility among its workers and supporters. Student Union ATI hold inter-party or inter-union election every year in which Union members or supporters elect ATI president, ATI General secretary, and ATI provincial presidents and secretaries. All the leaders are chosen by a free and fair electoral process every year. This year election were held in April and Noman Jabbar a PHD student from GC University Lahore was elected as Central President.
