Anja Chong is a Malaysian short track speed skater. She competed in the World Junior Short Track Speed Skating Championships 2012. In 2013, she placed second overall in Junior Ladies in the ISU World Development Short Track Speed Skating Trophy, winning silver medals in both the 500m and 1000m. She attended the United World College of South East Asia. After competing for one season, Anja took a hiatus from the sport to pursue her studies and in 2016 she was awarded a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Honours) from the University of Nottingham. She started short track speed skating again in the 2016/2017 season. A former figure skater, she was the 2009 Singaporean junior bronze medalist and the first skater to win a medal at an international competition, claiming bronze at the 2008 Asian Junior Challenge. At the 2009 World Junior Figure Skating Championships, she became the first skater to represent Singapore at an ISU Figure Skating Championships.
