In its latest annual recommendation (November 2017), Animal Charity Evaluators (ACE) named Animal Equality as a Top Charity.
In its November 2017 review, ACE cites Animal Equality's strengths as achieving significant successes with very small amounts of money. According to ACE "in particular, they have conducted undercover investigations for a fraction of the cost of some other organizations. They have a strong understanding of success and failure and are continually setting goals to improve their performance and increase their impact. As Animal Equality has expanded internationally, they’ve hired local advocates with strong cultural knowledge and contacts in each country. We expect that their recent expansion into countries with relatively few existing animal charities will afford them new opportunities for high-impact work. They have a sound strategy for increasing their reach and significant room for more funding."
