Alseno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Piacenza in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 120 kilometres (75 mi) northwest of Bologna and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southeast of Piacenza. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,793 and an area of 55.5 square kilometres (21.4 sq mi).
The municipality of Alseno contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Castelnuovo Fogliani, Chiaravalle della Colomba, Cortina, and Lusurasco.
