Alexeyevsky District (Russian: Алексе́евский райо́н; Tatar: Cyrillic Алексеевск районы, Latin Alekseyevsk rayonı) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the forty-three in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. It is located in the southwestern central part of the republic on the left bank of the Kama River. The area of the district is 2,080.1 square kilometers (803.1 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Alexeyevskoye. Population: 26,236 (2010 Census);26,207 (2002 Census);24,309 (1989 Census). The population of Alexeyevskoye accounts for 42.8% of the district's total population.
