Alektra Blue (born June 9, 1983) is an American pornographic actress and model. She was the Penthouse Pet of the Month for April 2008.
Blue was born in Phoenix, Arizona but grew up in the Dallas, Texas, area. She was a tomboy in high school and played soccer. Her very first job was as a receptionist at a fitness center, and she was a bartender in Texas before getting into the adult film industry.
Blue began working in the adult industry in January 2005, originally under the stage name of just the single name "Alektra". She credits fellow actress Taryn Thomas with her introduction to the adult industry, as they used to work at a call center when they both lived in Arizona.
In April 2008, Blue was the Penthouse Pet of the Month and signed an exclusive performance contract with Wicked Pictures. In February 2013, Blue announced that she had parted ways with Wicked Pictures. In May 2013, she signed a three-month exclusive performing deal with Brazzers.
She did a feature movie for Zero Tolerance called Rollerdollz. She did an interactive sex DVD for 3rd Degree called Total Interactive Control Of Alektra, for which her husband was one of the directors. She was also considered the spokesmodel and "unofficial contract girl" for 3rd Degree for around two years.
