Agelista is a genus of the spider family Salticidae (jumping spiders). As of March 2017[update], it has only one accepted species, Agelista andina, occurring in Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. Species formerly placed in Agelista have been transferred to other genera, in some cases tentatively, as with the transfer of A. petrusewiczi to Noegus. There may also be species not formally described as of March 2017[update].
