Bematistes poggei is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It is found in Zambia, Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia. The habitat consists of forests and riverine thickets.

The larvae feed on Adenia and Vitis species.
